With opening up of the textile sector and the momentous growth envisaged in this sector, Mr. Choudhary embarked upon a purposeful and systematic search for change and opportunity to expand his textile business. Tex-Summit 2007 - A Structural Roadmap for the Sector

Mr. Mukund Choudhary, MD addressing at the Tex- Summit as one of the inaugural speakers alongwith Mr. Kamal Nath, Hon. Union Commerce Minister, Mr. Oscar Fernandes, Hon. Union Labour Minister, Mr. Shankarsinh Vaghela, Hon. Union Textile Minister and Mr. C. Rangarajan Former RBI Governor & Chairman Economic Advisory Council to Prime Minister.
Ministry of Textiles, Government of India has organized “Tex-Summit” a conference to deliberate the areas of concern for the textiles sector to further boost the productivity and export to realize the potential of the sector to the advantages of economy as well as generation of employment. The Summit addressed the major challenges like raw material availability, appropriate technology, investment climate and opportunities, emerging trade barriers such as cost, etc. The summit brought together the who's who of the Indian textile and apparel industry along with several eminent economists contributing to formulation of the structural roadmap for the industry.

The Summit was addressed by Mr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, besides other dignitaries, businessmen & top ranking officers of Govt of India.

Expectation of Cotton Consumes: At Home

A presentation entitled “Expectation of Cotton Consumes: At Home" has been delivered by Mr. Mukund Choudhary on 16th March 2007, Mumbai being organized by East India Cotton Association & Cotton Outlook, UK. The presentation broadly covered different aspects such as Scenario of textile Industry, Cotton Consumer’s expectation, Profile of cotton consumer: Spentex Industry Limited and Shared vision for future.

NITMA

A presentation entitled “Acquisition: Paradigm of Accelerated Growth” has been delivered by Mr. Mukund Choudhary on 22/01/2007 at New Delhi being organized by Northern India Textile Manufacturers Association (NITMA). The presentation broadly covered different aspects of Acquisition .

The presentation was appreciated and a Memento was presented to him by the organizers.
